The challenge
Designing for yourself is hard, and designing your own portfolio is even harder. It takes a lot of time and mental effort. When you try to put together your portfolio, it can be really challenging to settle on a design and write the case studies, making the whole process very draining.
The process
When designing Olio Noir, I followed a tried and true design process. I started by studying the portfolios of UI/UX Designers to gather insights. With this information, I organized my findings and outlined the design requirements for the template. Using these insights, I designed multiple concepts for the template, ensuring each iteration addressed the needs and challenges identified in the research phase.
The outcome
The design solution for the Olio Noir Framer portfolio template thoughtfully combined modern styles with timeless design principles. Through a unique and visually captivating design, Olio Noir showcases UI/UX Designers’ work, highlighting their creativity and skills.
